Plant Research International of Wageningen UR embeds its expertise
in facilities for the large scale analysis of DNA, RNA, proteins, metabolites and whole cells, supported with the development and use of bioinformatics. The combination of these technological aspects with a strong biological knowledge and a customer driven approach, makes the institute unique for its capacity to develop and use genomics, from science to business.

In this way PRI’s research results both in publications in very high-ranked journals, and in a better market position of our partners and clients.
Our expertise and facilities are also well appreciated in international research projects such as financed by the EU. PRI’s biological expertise is very broad, to mention some: plant physiology, genetics, plant pathology, developmental biology, food and health, metabolic pathway engineering, crop ecology and biometry.
